I have nearly 20 years of experience in the human services field helping individuals, both adults and adolescents, cultivate and experience happier, healthier lives. My Master's Degree is in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have worked in therapeutic foster homes, a psychiatric inpatient facility, residential group homes, outpatient treatment facilities, private practice and currently as a Clinical Director of a substance abuse treatment facility.

My experience includes working with individuals, groups, families, and couples suffering from many disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, substance abuse, schizophrenia, sexual disorders, sexual victimization, conduct disorders and dual diagnosis. I use an eclectic approach drawing from a variety of therapeutic techniques such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, and Art Therapy.

Dave Jensen

Dave Jensen - Licensed Professional CounselorDave Jensen has been a professional psychotherapist for the past 9 years, and has been working in mental health since 2003. Dave has worked with adolescents, young adults, and families in hospitals, outpatient clinics, group homes, wilderness therapy, and residential treatment facilities. Dave graduated Cum Laude from Arizona State University earning his BA in Religious Studies with the intent to transition the skills and knowledge acquired there into his future counseling career; he went on to earn his Master of Social Work degree from New York University in 2009. He has a special interest in helping clients resolve trauma issues and associated symptoms including depression, anxiety and addiction. Dave is certified in EMDR and uses it in conjunction with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients resolve trauma and rebuild lives. Dave believes strongly that people have the fundamental ability to heal and to create meaning and purpose in their lives. This philosophy informs his therapy as he emphasizes a strengths based and solution focused approach. In his free time Dave enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters.

Xanthi Williams, MS

Xanthi Williams - Licensed Professional CounselorXanthi has worked in the mental health field for the past 14 years. She holds a Bachelor's of Art degree in Psychology and a Master's of Science in Mental Clinical Health. Xanthi approaches client care from a compassionate, strengths-based context and works in collaboration with clients to foster self-efficacy, empowerment, and comprehensive emotional wellness.
Xanthi gained knowledge regarding addiction, depression, and trauma from her internship at The Meadows in Wickenburg Arizona. Xanthi has worked for many years with families in crisis, assisting these families with healthy coping skills many of which included substance abuse.
She incorporates diverse modalities of healing to provide the support needed to guide clients to a greater sense of their authentic self. Xanthi utilizes Somatic Experiencing which assists clients in releasing internal and external obstacles that keep them stuck in the same trauma cycles.
