I have nearly 20 years of experience in the human services field helping individuals, both adults and adolescents, cultivate and experience happier, healthier lives. My Master's Degree is in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have worked in therapeutic foster homes, a psychiatric inpatient facility, residential group homes, outpatient treatment facilities, private practice and currently as a Clinical Director of a substance abuse treatment facility.

I use an eclectic approach drawing from a variety of therapeutic techniques such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, and Art Therapy.

Susan Kelly, MSW

Susan Kelly - Licensed Professional CounselorSusan Kelly has been working either directly or indirectly in the field of addiction and mental health for over 16 years. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University and completion of Advanced Training in Somatic Experiencing ™ Ms. Kelly brings her work history, education and personal experience with addiction to the aftercare arena. Susan has historically worked as a teacher and with child welfare systems, foster care systems and non-profits. In recent years Susan has worked in a number of treatment centers as a Primary Therapist, facilitating groups with both men and women, providing individual therapy and blending the unique approach of her somatic work with other modalities to support the nervous system in the process of healing the brain, mind, body and spirit to increase the likelihood of emotional well-being, decreased suffering and continuing abstinence.

She holds a Bachelor's of Art degree in Psychology and a Master's of Science in Mental Clinical Health. Xanthi approaches client care from a compassionate, strengths-based context and works in collaboration with clients to foster self-efficacy, empowerment, and comprehensive emotional wellness.
Xanthi gained knowledge regarding addiction, depression, and trauma from her internship at The Meadows in Wickenburg Arizona. Xanthi has worked for many years with families in crisis, assisting these families with healthy coping skills many of which included substance abuse.
She incorporates diverse modalities of healing to provide the support needed to guide clients to a greater sense of their authentic self. Xanthi utilizes Somatic Experiencing which assists clients in releasing internal and external obstacles that keep them stuck in the same trauma cycles.
