Recovery from addiction doesn't stop when a treatment period ends, it is a lifetime process. Relapse is most likely to occur within the first two years of sobriety. Navigating the world while newly sober can be very difficult alone. Continuing care is an important step to long term sobriety. Here at PPC we provide support and encouragement to newly recovered individuals to aid in the transition to a life of sobriety. We help clients learn effective coping skills to prevent relapse and establish a healthy living style.
Our Outpatient Continuing Care program consists of psycho-educational and process group therapy offered two times weekly and individual therapy offered weekly. Clients are welcome to attend one or both groups weekly.
Groups focus on Relapse Prevention Planning, Employment/Life Skills, Relationship Skills, Anger Management, and Practical Recovery Skills/Abstinence Maintenance.
Both morning and afternoon sessions available.
